The November Lunch Experiment

For the month of November, I’ve quit eating at my desk.

So, who’d like to go to lunch with me?

If you’re in Sydney’s CBD, show me your favourite place. Ideally, somewhere great and hard for the average person to find. Alternatively, we can meet in Circular Quay and I’ll show you one of my favourites.

WHAT DO WE TALK ABOUT?

Whatever you like. I love technology, appreciate good design, climb walls and surf every now and again. If you’re following my tweets, I’m sure we’ll find something.

We can talk about work, if you like. Pick my brain: ask for hiring advice, edit your resume, practise interview techniques. I can talk shop all day, if you dare to get me started!

BUT WE’VE NEVER MET

While part of the idea is to catch up with friends, this is also an excellent chance to put a face to the avatar.

WHO PAYS?

Dutch, or we can flip for it, if you’re feeling lucky.

WHEN ARE YOU FREE?

All the dates are below. Find one that suits then tweet or email me to lock one in.

This isn’t Mad Men. If you’d like a drink at lunch, don’t book Monday. Instead, aim for Friday and I’ll take you on one of my “power lunches”.

NEED INSPIRATION?
Surry Hills: Single Origin, Grill’d, Taste, Malibu
CBD: Ichi Bahn Boshi, Miss Chu’s, Din Tao Fung, Verandah Bar, Zambrero
The Rocks: Asago, Via Abercrombie, Hart’s Pub, The Australian Hotel

The sun is coming out and I love meeting people. It might mean more late nights in the office but it will be a fun experiment. I’ll post photos and a wrap up once it’s all done.

Hope to see you soon.
