AWS Startup Day in Sydney

My colleagues Steve Gilles, Hannah Field and I were delighted and honoured to attend to the AWS Startup Day event in Sydney. It was a great half day mini conference, held at the beautiful AWS offices in the Sydney CBD. We attend a number of conferences, and were pleasantly surprised at the half-day, two-stream (business and technical) format 👏
The talks were inspiring, the questions were thoughtful, and the crowd was engaging and welcoming. As an added bonus, we got to see our ex-Lookahead colleague Matt Allen 🎉 host the Business-focused stream and chair a panel of startup industry leaders. Awesome job AWS on your inaugural Startup Day Sydney 🇦🇺 event!
Here’s a brief recap of the day’s events, with a few of our favourite tweets.
