Lookahead ("we") is a technology recruitment firm based in Sydney. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Contact details and career information you give us directly, such as your name, email, phone number, job title, employer, resume and LinkedIn profile. This includes anything you submit through forms on this site, our newsletter signup, surveys we run, and lead forms on platforms like LinkedIn. We also collect standard, anonymised website analytics.
How we use it
To provide recruitment services, which means talking to you about roles and, with your consent, introducing you to employers. To send you things you've asked for, such as reports, research and our newsletter. And to get in touch about work we think you'd find relevant. You can unsubscribe from anything we send, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share a candidate's details with a prospective employer only after checking with the candidate first. We use trusted service providers to run our business, such as our recruitment CRM, email and analytics tools, and they only process information on our behalf. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hi@lookahead.com.au and we'll sort it out. If you have a complaint about how we've handled your information, tell us the same way and we'll respond promptly.
