Senior Manager, Delivery (Agentic AI Deployment)
Lead the pod that turns AI into real decisions on the ground, for customers across the world's supply chains.
- Build and grow this team's first Australian people-leadership role, starting with a team of two and growing as the customer base does
- Genuine player-coach role: technical enough to unblock your team, with real ownership of senior customer escalations
- Fully remote, based anywhere in Australia, with international travel into APAC to stay close to the customers you serve
The role
This company builds an AI platform that gives governments and enterprises real time visibility into global supply chains, used for trade compliance, security and risk management. Its Australian logistics team is growing, and this role leads the delivery pod that gets the platform into production inside customer businesses, standing up integrations and deploying agentic AI into customer workflows so the insight actually changes decisions on the client side. You’ll own delivery outcomes and roadmap across a portfolio of customer implementations, while hiring, coaching and growing the team itself. You’ll work as a tight pod alongside your team and directly with customers, since this is genuinely too much ground for one person to cover alone.
About you
- Several years directly managing a technical or delivery team, including running performance reviews, hiring and coaching. This isn’t a first management role
- Background in forward deployed engineering, implementation, professional services or solutions architecture, with some exposure to AI or agentic tooling deployment
- Comfortable being the senior point of contact when a customer escalation needs to be owned and resolved directly
- Technical enough to follow the work deeply and step in to unblock your team, without needing to be hands on keyboard yourself
- Genuinely comfortable with up to 50% international travel within APAC during the first six months, settling to a few days a month after that
- Direct, concise communicator with genuine curiosity about global trade and supply chains (no subject matter expertise required coming in)
The offer
- Fully remote, based anywhere in Australia, with flexible core hours rather than a rigid nine to five
- Competitive base from around $200K + super, depending on experience
- Join at the ground floor and shape a new team from two direct reports as the customer base grows
- Real world impact on a global trade and supply chain problem that governments and enterprises actually rely on
