The role
A federal government agency’s Cyber Services team is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their One Identity (OneID) BAU team. They need someone with genuine, hands-on One Identity Manager experience.
You’ll keep the OneID platform running smoothly: resolving complex incidents, applying patches and upgrades, maintaining SOPs, and delivering incremental improvements. You’ll also support project delivery work as it transitions into BAU, and develop custom scripts, modules, and connectors within the One Identity Manager environment.
About you
- Hands-on experience with One Identity Manager: architecture, object model, configuration, and identity lifecycle management
- Application development and integration within an IGA platform, including customisation, connector development, and integration with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Exchange
- Understanding of IAM security governance: segregation of duties, privileged access management, access certification, and audit/compliance reporting
- Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders to produce IGA solution designs and manage structured delivery of enhancements
- Collaborative approach: you enjoy mentoring less experienced colleagues and contributing to team knowledge uplift
- Australian citizen able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance
The offer
- 12-month initial contract with 2 x 12-month extension options (up to 3 years)
- Estimated start: 27 July 2026
- Hybrid working: minimum 3 days/week in Canberra candidates preferred; nationwide applications considered
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Senior level EL1 equivalent
