The role
We’re looking for a Shopify Developer to take ownership of two e-commerce sites selling merchandise for major clients including Disney, many popular content creators & game studios. You’ll maintain and develop these Shopify sites, handling frequent seasonal campaigns (Halloween, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas etc.). And you’ll bring back the fun, interactive elements that made these sites special.
This role involves working with Shopify and Liquid templates, but also going beyond standard Shopify limitations. Depending on complexity, you might customise using Shopify’s native tools, inject React components for advanced functionality, or if needed, build standalone websites that integrate seamlessly with the main stores.

About you

• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
• Experience with Shopify and Liquid templates
• Understanding of how to customise Shopify beyond standard limitations
• Ability to work with React and inject components into Shopify for custom functionality
• Experience with animations and creating engaging, interactive web experiences (highly valued)
