Mid Level Software Engineer (Backend)
Join a startup with lots of customers & who are scaling to handle immense amounts of data for their analytics platform. Remote work within Australia.
The role
Join a team of 6 engineers and help set up automations and monitoring to enable data based decision making. Build tools, refactor critical processes and add new features to help adopt new clients onto the platform. You’ll be part of the data pipeline team and work alongside senior engineers who are defining the architecture of the data pipeline.
About you
You are a mid level software engineer with a backend development focus and strong collaboration skills. You have experience in Python, Node.js or Ruby, as well as some of the following: ORMs, API development, REST, GraphQL, database design, HTTP.
You enjoy working remotely, learning new technologies and solving complex problems. You have product engineering experience working in a software development team with code quality, review and testing as a priority. You have full Australian working rights.

The offer**
- Annual salary of $130k-150k including super (with stock options available)
- Training and professional development budget/support
- Work remotely within Australia (or hybrid in Sydney or Melbourne) and attend quarterly planning sessions in Melbourne (3-4 days)
