Here at Lookahead we get a special view of our industry. Above and beyond the awesome companies we talk to each day and our amazing candidates we also see things from the 10,000 foot view.
From both down on the ground, and way up high there’s one thing that we can’t deny. There’s a lot of men. Dudes. Everywhere. The industry as a whole has always had a “what can we do about it?” type of attitude but recently we’re sensing a change.
Rails Girls is an initiative that’s aim is to give tools and a community for women to understand technology and to build their ideas.
Given this is a new path for a lot of these girls, we thought, what better way to introduce them into the developer life than supplying them with highly caffeinated beverages?
