I love it when conference organisers prioritise their opportunity program. In Sydney next month a bunch of people from underrepresented groups are going to RubyConf. In April over in Melbourne, you’ll see fresh faces at CSSConf and JSConf*.

These programs really do bring new people into our industry. The web community is a wonderful thing and by showing it off to new and interesting people, we’re slowly but surely broadening our talent pool.
