Drop us a note and we’ll get back to you soon.
One of our friendly team members (like Simeon) will be happy to answer any questions you have.
Good people know good people. Connect us and earn a reward.
If someone you know is looking to hire or be hired, please think of us.
We will take good care of anyone you refer. We can answer questions they have about the market or talk through ways to optimise their hiring process. We can even introduce them to other specialist recruiters if their skills are not in areas we know extremely well. So if you're unsure, refer them anyway.
Successful referrals are rewarded with your choice of a gift voucher, donation to charity or community event sponsorship to the value of $1,000. (Eligible three months after successful placement. Referral must be to a client or candidate we are not currently working with.)
I was a junior software engineer working in Ruby on Rails. I was on support for most of my tenure so I go really good at crafty fixes and problem solving. I also had some time doing security tickets which I really loved.
Before tech I was working for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Darwin. I was a duty manager there and got to learn a lot about tourism and customer service.
I came across the Lookahead website and was really impressed by the team. I thought my skills could be a good match for recruiting and wanted to work with great people.
I love skiing. We used to go every year growing up. I have great memories racing my sister down the mountain with my dad trailing after us yelling “slow down!”.
I last read Normal People by Sally Rooney. It’s a book about an Irish couple navigating their first relationship. Going from the end of high school to the end of uni is such a defining time in your life, so much happens. It’s told beautifully.
The last podcast I listened to is How to be Gay by Josh Thomas. Each episode specialises on a different question from how to come out to how to survive a hostile government.
I had a go at making my own app and being a founder so I’d probably still be doing that.
A 1995, 2 door Hyundai Excel. It had incredible air conditioning and would go very slowly up mountains
Driving to Darwin from Melbourne in my Hyundai. I was 21 and my dad was very worried, he made me call him from a satellite phone every night. There were some days where I’d drive for 6 hours and wouldn’t pass anyone. I got to see Coober Pedy, a town where everyone escapes the desert heat by living underground.
Bluetooth. I know it involves sound waves but it boggles my mind.
I want to see the crabs on Christmas Island. There’s thousands of them and they migrate to the sea all at the same time. I’m a little worried about what footwear to wear. I wouldn’t want to squish them with boots but I’m also a bit unsure about wearing thongs and having them crawl on my feet.
