RailsGirlsAU 2014 - Sydney and Melbourne
A few weekends back, I was honoured to be a mentor at RailsGirls in Sydney for the 2nd time. It’s amazing to see such an enthusiastic crowd of women who have an interest in becoming Ruby programmers! As president of Ruby Australia, I’m very proud of the community we’ve built over the last 10 or so years.
Swift and hiring iOS developers
Apple’s new programming language for iOS and OS X developers is called Swift. It’s still in beta right now but developers have had access to it since last month.
