Lead DevOps Engineer
Details (ARCHIVED)THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an experienced cloud engineer to lead and architect complex solutions for their clients. You’ll get the best of both worlds - you’ll work in a startup environment for enterprise clients. Most projects run for 3-9 months so you’ll have plenty of time to collaborate with your team and client to develop high performing engineering systems.
You’ll work closely with other engineers, many of whom have been CTOs and technical leaders in their field. Our client believes in an autonomous, transparent working environment, backed by the moral support of like-minded peers. You’ll probably work with your team onsite at the client a few days a week, but you’ll have the flexibility to work from home or from the company’s office as well.
Experience building large, complex systems will be most beneficial. Ideally, you have a heavy background in APIs, and a genuine passion for them. They’re using Apigee, Node, Java, Spring and AWS on the project you’ll join, but they’ve used a bunch of other technologies too depending on the clients’ needs, so deep knowledge of these specific technologies isn’t required.
Depending on experience, you could be paid up to $200,000 package.
