My client is a small yet well established ASX-listed company creating award-winning cloud-based software that allows small and medium-sized businesses to thrive and be successful. Due to recent rapid growth with more forecast, they are looking to expand their development team. You'll become a member of a small yet vital team, creating provable impact on the product, having input across the whole dev process from feature & architecture idea discussions, all the way to production and deployment.
The tech stack consists of a back-end API built on Ruby on Rails and Postgres, with ES6 and ReactJS on the front. Everything's deployed on AWS with a healthy dosage of CI. We have a greenfield project approach to our stack, only ever are interested in using the newest version of the latest tech on every platform with zero legacy code to tip-toe around.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new role for an expanding dev team. You'll play a key role as they manage the various products. You'll be working in the Melbourne office being responsible for developing, testing and delivering new features while also providing regular updates to the current product line-up and will be involved in the entire process from start to finish.
You've got a decent amount of commercial experience working in development teams, and while you consider yourself a Full Stack dev, deep down you see yourself as a Rails developer who also knows a bit of JS, but is keen to learn more. You see rigorous code testing as an essential part of the dev process, and you're eager to be involved with the process end to end. You're excited and passionate about the tools you work with and are always ahead of the curve when it comes to knowing about new technology.
