Mid-Senior Ruby on Rails Developer | Sydney
Details (ARCHIVED)THE COMPANY
A small, established and profitable technology company. They produce a product that combines hardware, embedded software and a web application. You'll be developing the web application and be surrounded by technical people, not suits.
There is always something new to do and plenty of feature work to be done. We also see a serious opportunity in mining the massive amounts of data collected.
It's a technical playground where hardware engineers, embedded system engineers and web application developers work together.
You'll be surrounded by many interesting people when you're in the office but also given the flexibility to work from home on a part time basis if you choose to.
There's no dress code and so far no one has given us a reason to make one!
There will be plenty of support, we just want to be upfront about the challenges:
- Communicating with hardware devices.
- Deploying across multiple environments.
- Real scaling issues that we'd love your help with.
THE OFFER / PERKS
- Work from home part time.
- Work with people who are always open to feedback and improvements
- Job security and low turnover.
To apply, please send me an introductory email about what you enjoy doing, together with your resume and links to your website, Github account or projects you've done that you're proud of.

I'm a recruiter who's actually technical and I'm happy to share more detail with anyone who's interested.
