Mid-Level Ruby Developer | Melbourne

Details (ARCHIVED)

We're looking for a developer who is not just able to write great code, but also wants to help make business decisions and see the company thrive. You'll join a small, but well-funded and highly experienced FinTech team based in Melbourne's inner-city. The codebase has been built by one of the best Ruby-focussed product teams in Melbourne. They'll be on-hand to assist with development, but are looking for a smooth transition to someone capable enough to help move development in-house.
You've had experience in a commercial environment with Ruby on Rails, and are looking to make the next step up in your career. Ideally you're also confident with JavaScript frameworks on the front-end. The codebase is highly tested and continually deployed so you'll need to have experience in a similar setup to maintain the quality as more features get added. You'll initially be working on your own, with plans to add more developers in the near future.

- An attractive salary + equity that reflects your experience and knowledge
- Convenient inner-city location
- Freedom to give your own technical influence and impact on the future of the product
- Be part of a collaborative team
To apply, please send me an introductory email about what you enjoy doing, together with your resume and links to your website, Github account or projects you've done that you're proud of.

I'm a technical recruiter who is actually technical. I've had a lot of experience working in tech companies, and understand what people look for in a good team. I'm passionate about connecting great people with awesome opportunities. If this role isn't quite right for you but you are passionate about all things front-end, JavaScript, Ruby, I would still love to hear from you.
