CTO / lead developer | Sydney
Details (ARCHIVED)THE ROLE
You'll be working on an already successful SaaS product in a startup that has passed the product validation phase. There are real customers, revenue to go with it and funding to accelerate growth.
They're based in a stunning office in the city and you'll be working alongside two talented developers. Soon after joining, you'll help grow the team further.
The founders have done a great job of landing clients so a lot of the external business facing element will be abstracted away, though you will have a role in pre-sales to discuss technical elements. You definitely don't need to be a salesperson, but should be comfortable explaining technical concepts to new people.
We're looking for a technical leader who is still happy to code. Given the size of the company, this isn't a CTO role where you'll totally be off the tools. However on their current growth trajectory, that could change in the next year or two. Honestly we're still working this out so if you're unsure about where you fit in please ask.
You're a technical leader who values building products in a sustainable manner. You have empathy for others and like growing diverse teams.
We're not big enough to have a CTO who is totally off the tools. You'll help lead development for now while running the team. As the team grows, you'll end up writing less code day-to-day.
Applying is easy. Send an email with your resume, website, Github account, links to anything else you're proud of.
I'm a technical recruiter who is actually technical. If this role isn't quite right, but you are passionate about technical leadership or web development, get in touch as we might have something else that's a better fit.
